Overview
Tiga were tasked with the creating a natural habitat within the catchment area of central London at the London School of Economics. Due to the requirements of the project a Bio-Diversity roof gardens was perfect for this project. The Bio Diversity scheme would create stepping stones for wildlife within urban areas to increase the boundaries for nature to thrive, thus reducing the impact our urban development has upon nature.Tiga Europe Ltd carried out all of the structural waterproofing within the site and assisted the design throughout.
Since the completion of the scheme the bio diversity garden has been a complete success with wildlife now living in the roof garden, including a family of great black backed gulls. See our blog for more details.
